阅读理解（Reading Comprehension）
共20题，考试时间40分钟，占总分值的35%，共计248.5分。包含三个部分：
词汇理解（Section A）：有10题，根据文章后面给出的15个单词填补文章里的10个空格，不能使用给出的单词超过一次。
长篇阅读（Section B）：有10题，篇章后附有10个句子，每句一题，每句所含的信息出自篇章的某一段落，要求考生找出与每句所含信息相匹配的段落。
仔细阅读（Section C）：有10题，两篇文章，每篇文章后有5个问题或者未完成的声明。题材广泛，可以包括人物传记、社会、文化、日常知识、科普常识等，但是所涉及的背景知识应能为学生所理解。主要测试学生掌握所读材料的主旨和大意、了解说明主旨和大意的事实和细节、既理解字面的意思也能根据所读材料进行一定的判断和推论、既理解个别句子的意义也理解上下文的逻辑关系等能力，即测试学生通过阅读获取信息的能力，既要求准确，也要求有一定速度1。
翻译（Vocabulary and Structure）
共1题，考试时间30分钟，占总分值的15%，共计106.5分。要求考生将一段英文翻译成中文，另一段中文翻译成英文，主要考查学生的汉英双语转换能力2。
