一、不同基础人群的大致情况
高中英语基础较好的人
如果高中英语成绩能够维持在115分以上，通常来说考大学四级比较容易，可能1 - 2次就能通过。因为大学四级的单词范围和高中有较多重叠，在这个基础上掌握四级要求的一些主观题会用到的单词书写等内容后，凭借高中的知识储备加上一定的备考就比较容易通过。比如很多在高考英语中取得较好成绩的学生，在大一参加四级考试就顺利通过了。
有较好的英语听力、阅读、写作等技能基础，在四级考试中适应起来会更快。例如在高中阶段经常进行听力训练的学生，四级听力部分对他们来说难度提升不大，在词汇量等其他方面达标的情况下，通过考试就相对轻松。
基础一般且未经过系统备考的人
可能需要3 - 4次甚至更多次才能通过。这类人群往往存在单词量不足、语法掌握不扎实、对四级考试题型和要求不熟悉等问题。比如有些学生在高中英语成绩处于中等水平，大学又没有认真进行四级备考，次考试可能成绩不理想。他们可能需要多次积累词汇、练习真题、提升应试技巧才能通过。
