一是扩充词汇量。词汇就像构建阅读大厦的砖块。我曾经在做四级阅读练习时，遇到“conserve”这个词，知道它常见的意思是“保护”，但在阅读文章里是“保存、节约”的意思。所以，除了背诵四级词汇书，还要阅读英语文章，如《纽约时报》的简易版，遇到生词及时查字典并记录下来，反复复习。
二是掌握长难句分析。长难句常常让人望而却步。比如在一道四级阅读真题中有这样一个句子：“The newly - discovered star, which is located at the edge of our galaxy and emits a strong radio signal, has attracted the attention of astronomers all over the world.”这个句子中包含了一个非限定性定语从句。通过划分句子结构，先找出主句“The newly - discovered star has attracted the attention of astronomers all over the world”，就能理解句子的主要内容，再看从句补充的信息。
三是运用阅读技巧。先看题目再读文章是很实用的技巧。例如有一次考试，题目中提到了“environmental protection”这个关键词，我在阅读文章时就快速定位到相关段落，节省了很多时间。同时，要学会略读，抓住文章的标题、首段、每段的首句和尾句等关键部分，了解文章的主旨大意；还要掌握扫读技巧，快速寻找特定信息。
四是增加阅读量。阅读不同类型的文章有助于提高阅读能力。我平时除了做四级真题阅读，还会阅读一些英语短篇小说，像欧·亨利的一些简单作品。这不仅提高了我的阅读速度，还让我熟悉了不同的写作风格和表达习惯。四六级口语考试需要一些应对要点。
首先，流利度是关键。在口语表达中，不要过分纠结于语法错误。比如我在一次口语练习中，想要表达“我已经去过那个地方很多次了”，说成了“I have been to that place many times already”，虽然有一点小的语法瑕疵，但整体表达流利。在实际考试中，保持流利的表达能够让考官更好地理解你的意思。为了提高流利度，可以多进行口语练习，例如和同学进行英语对话，或者自己对着镜子练习描述事物、讲述故事等。
其次，发音准确很重要。准确的发音能让你的表达更清晰。我曾经通过模仿英语原声材料来纠正自己的发音。像“th”这个音，很多中国人发不好，我就专门听一些包含这个音的单词和句子，如“think”“thanks”等，反复模仿练习。在口语考试中，清晰准确的发音能够让考官轻松理解你的内容。
最后，内容的丰富性也不可或缺。在回答问题时，要有足够的内容支撑。例如在回答“Describe your favorite city”这个问题时，我不仅提到了城市的著名景点，如北京的故宫“The Forbidden City in Beijing

To put all into a nutshell, it goes without saying that innovation does matter. On the one
hand, relevant authorities are supposed to set up relevant rules and regulations so as to

Chill 这个词通常跟冷有关，既可以指身体上的冷感也可以指情绪上的冷静。但是在习惯用法中chill 和veg一样有安静休息的意思，只是chill 比veg更多一层意思，就是chill也能指抑制情绪激动。下句中说话的男孩儿正努力控制自己的情绪，以便头脑清醒地考虑问题。请特别注意里面用到的 chill这个词。
例如：Oh, no! Mom's going to be so mad that we broke the window, and we'll be in deep trouble. We've got to chill and think about what story we can tell her, so she won't get too angry.

Chill也可以用来指纯粹放松休息。特别注意下面这个小伙子的话里用到的chill跟刚才那个例子里的chill有什么不同。
例如：We didn't do much yesterday. Tim came over to my house, and we pretty much chilled there all day. We watched TV, played a few video games, and had some snacks--nothing special.
我们昨天没做什么，Tim来我家，我们整天就在家里闲待着，我们看了会儿电视，再玩儿了几盘电子游戏，然后吃了点儿点心，没什么特别的活动。
这里的chill显然指从事一些轻松悠闲的活动，或者就是放松休息。
